Preschool Program 


We are taking applications for our Tuesday/Thursday Preschool program for the September 2022 term, this is for kiddos ages 30 months and up and until they are ready to transition into our pre kindergarten program on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
We are also happy to add your child to our waitlist.
We are now  offering Group care to those families already in our Preschool program. This helps supplement that program by offering an additional 2 hours of care after the preschool day has ended.

General Information
What is your maximum children per day?
We will have a maximum of 16 children per day with 2 ECE's attending.
What are your Preschool and Group Care service hours?
Preschool sessions are 845am to 1245am. Monday to Friday .  Group care sessions are from 1245pm to 245pm Monday to Friday. These times are subject to adjustment.
When does registration start?
Registration has already started for the September 2022 intake, contact us on info@classwestk.org for more details and to sign your child up to our program.
What are your fees?
Preschool fees only-4 hours a day
3 Days $396 per month. Monday, Wednesday and Friday -845am to 1245 pm ages 4 years to Kindergarten
​2 days $270 a month. Tuesday and Thursday 
-845am to 1245 pm ages 30 months to 4 years.

Preschool and  Group Care fees-6 hours a day

3 Days $594 per month. Monday, Wednesday and Friday-845am to 245pm ages 4 years to 5 Kindergarten
​2 days $405 a month. Tuesday and Thursday 845am to 245pm ages 30 months to 4 years.
What age does my child need to be to enter your Preschool and Group Care programs?
Intake starts at 30 months (for the Tuesday/Thursdays program) and up. All kiddos needs to be fully toilet trained (Occasional pull ups are ok) before enrolment.
Can we tour your facility prior to sign up?
Absolutely, before signing up to any of our programs we always have a meet and greet with potential clients and their kiddos, this gives parents/guardians a chance  to have a look around the center, meet the staff, ask questions and for us all to see that it will be a good fit for everyone :)
Do you plan to stay open over the Summer break?
Providing there is enough need for this service, we will be open throughout the summer break.
Can I add my child to your waitlist?
Yes of course.
Do you accept subsidy?
Yes, we accept ACCB. We do ask that all paperwork is in place prior to your child starting, or for full payment to be made and a refund issued once the benefits package is in place.
What is Group care and when will it start?
Group care allows us to provide an extra 2 hours each day after the Preschool session has finished. Group Care will be from 1245pm to 245pm each day. This will be open to all families using our Preschool program only. This service is not a continuation of the pre school program but is based on socialization and individual learning and is of a less structured nature than Preschool.
Are you part of the CCFRI (Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative) ?
We are currently working with  MCFD to become part of this initiative. We will post more information once the approval is in place.

Staff Qualifications
Are all your staff fully trained in First Aid and CPR?
Yes all our staff are fully trained in First Aid and CPR.
Are all staff suitably trained to work with my child?
​Yes, all staff will have the minimum requirements to work with your child, with the majority having attained University and/or College qualifications.
What ratio's do you use?
 We are licensed for 20 children per day and we operate on a less than  7:1 ratio staff to children-aged 30 months to school age.
Do all your staff have valid background checks?
Yes, all staff have valid RCMP and Ministry background checks.
Diet and Nutrition
Do you provide food in your Preschool program?
No, Parents/Guardians have a better understanding of what their kiddos like/dislike, so we ask that you bring a healthy and nutritional snack that complies with all Federal and Provincial standards each day for your child. We will have a some of food on site just in case a child needs additional food or on the off chance the child does not have their snack for the day. Please ensure the snacks are allergy friendly and small enough to be consumed quickly
Is your center nut free?
Yes, we do not allow any nut varieties at our center.
Do you accept children with allergies?
Yes, we will provide them with an alternative menu if required that works within the nutritional guidelines to ensure your child has healthy food options.
