Owner of CLASS of West K
I have been involved in education and childcare since my oldest daughter was born over 18 years ago. I started teaching preschool in the UK before moving to Canada in 2006. Over the years my studies have drawn me to supporting kids with Autism, ADHD and other related disorders. My interest and experience led me to become a senior behavior interventionist with a well known service provider in Kelowna and more recently I studied for a Diploma of Applied Psychology & Counselling and I am now a Registered Professional Counsellor.
I am very excited about opening CLASS of West K, I feel our variety of services will appeal to many families in West Kelowna and the surrounding areas because we openly welcome parents to participate in our programs which is quite unique.
I will be involved primarily in the Distance Learning Area, where we will be offering support services to children with autism and other disorders. I find increasingly that children with autism are not reaching their potential in traditional schools where there is a lack of specialized support, our goal at Class of West K is to support not just the 75% but all children.

- Higher National Diploma in Applied Psychology (Plymouth University)
- I have been supporting individuals with ASD and ADHD for over 16 years.
- I have attended numerous workshops and seminars on Behaviour Intervention, Autism, ADHD, Anxiety and Depression in children and teens.
Lindsay Milnes-Senior Behaviour Interventionist
Lindsay holds an Honours Bachelors of Science degree in Behavioural Neuroscience from Memorial University of Newfoundland (2015).
She has worked with children diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, and related disorders since 2013.
Through her past positions as an ABA Therapist, Behaviour Interventionist, and Education Assistant, she has supported children in centers, family's homes, in the community and in school environments.
Lindsay is very passionate about setting and meeting goals with the children she supports.
Her dream career is to become a Speech Language Pathologist, specializing in Apraxia to teach non-verbal children how to communicate.
She has worked with children diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, and related disorders since 2013.

Janet MacFarlane -Behaviour Consultant
Janet has many years of experience as a Behaviour Consultant, and has been listed on the Registry of Autism Service Providers since 2010.
She achieved BCBA certification in 2014 following three years certified as BCaBA. Prior to becoming a Behaviour Consultant, Janet worked with children with autism and other developmental disabilities as a Behaviour Interventionist, Educational Assistant, and Residential Care Worker.
Overall, Janet has two decades of experience working within the field of Developmental Disabilities.

Hannah Yan Yan Chan-Behaviour Technician
Hannah holds a B.A. in Psychology specializing in Child Development, specifically in Abnormal Child Development Psychology from the University of British Columbia Okanagan (2014), and has extensive knowledge in Children's Mental Health and Early Childhood Development.
Her expertise and passion in reaching out to children with special needs, led her to complete studies in multiple relevant fields such as suicide prevention, interpretation and translation ( for children with Autism ), implementation of Behaviour Autism Treatment, and creating a positive interaction with children on the Autism Spectrum.
Hannah has worked with children for over a decade – children hold a great place in her heart. She also teaches piano and cooking lessons to children who are diagnosed with Down Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder .
Even before becoming a behaviour professional, Hannah catered to children’s needs. Her previous experience include providing child care, working as an annual kid camp/ special needs coordinator and a Sunday School Teacher.
